“1 by 2 with dilani_r” was an English language podcast featuring South Asian artists from around the world, produced and distributed in association with Raaga Media. 

Co-created by myself, and Bangalore-based film critic Karthik Keramalu, the name was inspired by the common Desi phrase used to indicate the sharing of a pot of chai – 1 pot, 2 cups. The series was focused on candid chats shared with guests, and the conversation – like our tea – was always fresh.

The show garnered audiences from North America, India, Australia, France, the UK, the UAE and more.

Past “1 by 2” guests included internationally renowned performers Adil Hussain, Shraddha Srinath, Sid Sriram, documentarians Vinay Shukla & Khusboo Ranka, and award-winning filmmakers Pushkar & Gayatri, among others.

With the help of my producers Karthik, Bala Kumaran, and the Raaga Media team, “1 by 2” completed its third and final season in March 2019.
