I have been writing for South Asian entertainment websites and international cultural outlets on film, travel and entrepreneurship since 2013.

My “East Meets West” for Behindwoods garnered an average of 16,000 views each week over 2013-16, and in-depth written interviews with popular South Indian personalities, including Vishal, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Ashok Selvan helped propel my reputation in Indian film, all the way from Canada.

Noteworthy columns I wrote for Fully Filmy discussed the unhealthy promotion of stalking, state of female characters and unfair censorship in Indian cinema

My “Chennai Chapter” travel series written for TamilCulture magazine gave readers an inside look at what it is like to be a working female, in the entertainment industry, in India.

I am now a contributing writer to US based South Asian culture magazine The Juggernaut, writing primarily about new South Indian cinema.
